Our Federal Way Dental Team

Rachelle has been a part of our Federal Way dental team for six years. She worked five years on the clinical side as a dental assistant, then after returning from a maternity leave, she joined our front office team as our Patient Care Coordinator. Her clinical knowledge, in addition to her genuine warmth, insightful nature and professional manner make her a valuable asset to our patients as she assists them with scheduling, coordinating treatment with specialists and reminding them of their appointments.

For over eighteen years, Debbie has had a role in keeping our front office running smoothly.  As Practice Coordinator, she is responsible for many of the business aspects of the practice, including navigating insurance and billing issues. Debbie's easy-going manner, sharp memory and good sense of humor make her a joy to work with for both patients and staff.

Debbie Lynne brings over twenty five years of experience in the finance field to her responsibilities as our Bookkeeper. She adeptly manages the accounts payable, payroll and general accounting. We are grateful for her precision and technical skills as well as her enjoyable personality as part of our front office team.

Terri has over fifteen years of dental assisting experience and we have been blessed to have her work in this office for over eight years. Terri uses her multiple talents working with Dr. Egger and the hygienists to keep the daily schedule flowing smoothly and on time. Many of our patients call her the “x-ray lady.”

In January 2009, we were excited to welcome Tova to our assisting team. She joined us with nine years of dental assisting experience in a similar practice. Tova’s confidence and enthusiasm for quality dentistry have enhanced our clinical team’s technical skills and patient communications.

Tamarra joined our practice in July 2008. She grew up in Twin Lakes and is a graduate of Decatur High School. Though she is young in her dental assisting career, Tamarra is highly experienced in a variety of specialized dental procedures. Her youthful exuberance and delightful sense of humor are enjoyed by both our staff and patients.

Lily began working for this practice under Dr. Surbeck just one year after she graduated from Shoreline Community College's Dental Hygiene program. With over thirty years experience, Lily has remained a dedicated hygienist who is determined to give her patients excellent service and superior dental care. It is no wonder that Lily has a loyal following of patients who trust her dental recommendations and appreciate her careful attention to their needs.

Deb joined the team of our dentist in Seattle in March 2007. With eighteen years of experience as a hygienist, she possesses excellent technical skills and the ability to communicate her impressive amount of dental knowledge clearly to her patients. We admire her passion for dentistry and appreciate the sense of fun she brings to the practice.

Renee has been an integral part of our dental team as an assistant for the past fifteen years. In 2007 she was accepted into hygiene school and graduated in 2009. Currently, as a registered dental hygienist, she works in the practice part-time, filling in and working during our busy times. Staff and patients alike look forward to the time when we can have her positive attitude and infectious energy here on a regular basis.
